Hey Guys! I got a little carried away with this one, but had a BLAST! Took a very different approach and it’s FULL of flaws, but I had a good time. (Admittedly I used some bits of photos to save time for the windows and planes) Hope you get a kick out of it. :-)

So, this first challenge was quite a bit outside of my comfort zone.

I’ve dabbled a little in science-fiction, though it usually tends to be heavily influenced by the steampunk genre or even fantasy itself. But to do something completely science-fiction was a real challenge for me! What actually embodies “artificial intelligence?” It’s a hard question, and so I naturally went toward robots. Pretty standard, I admit, and not too imaginative. So I tried to come up with a robot design that was pretty off the wall but did incorporate some organic shapes. And who doesn’t love tentacles? Really.

This got a bit more involved than I initially planned for a simple “sketch” challenge, but I had fun with it and it got me drawing something that wasn’t for work. So, mission accomplished!
