Cthulhu Challenge – Steve Firchow
Don’t know much about Cthulu except that he’s some sort of cosmic pervert.
I dig music theater so it seems logical to me that there might be Cthulu…The Musical!!!

Yeah Steve, this is just off the wall. I love the city street scene and the tentacles. Really lovely stuff, man. How long did this take you?
Thanks Jeremy. For a sketch challenge?…too long.
Photoshop tricks sped it up and its also pretty small (12″ by 12″). About 7 hours total.
Next challenge will be sketchier I promise.
Steve, I wish I could throw something together so detailed and great in seven hours. I’m jealous. I might have to get you to give me some tips on drawing faster, it is so frustrating sometimes when drawings take so long…
No need to get sketchier – this is great. The main thing is that you are having fun doing your own thing!
