Frontier Heroine – Jeremy Aaron Moore

I’ve been wanting to sketch something in this type of theme for a while. Something with a Victorian-esk clothed woman with her back turned towards us with some sort of threat behind her. I don’t know who or what that threat is yet but I’ll eventually figure it out. Originally I had thought of having her standing in an off kilter pose with a shotgun, but as I started sketching different thumbnails this one just sort of started making more sense. I’m thinking of maybe doing a few more thumbnails similar to this one and doing a larger finished illustration at some point.

Anyway, really enjoyed this theme a lot. Thumbs up for heroines!
